Shivia’s Easter Art Challenge is on!

Get creative for a great cause!

As Easter approaches, we are launching a creative challenge which could see your artwork becoming Shivia’s featured image on our website and across all our social media platforms!

How to take part

  1. Create an image that represents Shivia and the work we are doing to help families get out of poverty – this could be painting, drawing, collage or computer generated design like the one below which was sent to us by 14 year old Sophia.
  2. Post your image on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #shiviachallenge. We will repost all the entries on our social media channels.
  3. Email your image (jpeg, PNG or PDF) to us at toolkits@shivia.com. Please include the artist’s name and their age (if under 18).
  4. The deadline for entries is Wednesday 14th April.
  5. Anyone can take part – it’s free to enter and there are no age restrictions, so please invite all family members to take part, young and old!!

The judging panel

All entries will be judged by Shivia trustees, including our Patron Nick Jenkins.  As founder of the online greetings card company Moonpig and former dragon in BBC Dragons’ Den, Nick has a very good eye for a winner!

Prize winner

The winning entry as chosen by our judges will become the featured image on Shivia’s website and our social media platforms throughout April and May and will be used in some of our fundraising publicity. A small gift will also be delivered to the winner. All entries will be displayed in a special gallery on our website.

Good luck!

Bonus Challenge!

Get creative with your ideas of how to raise £15 to buy one of Shivia’s Poultry Toolkits for a family in India as an Easter gift.

Each toolkit will become the source of hundreds of real eggs (not chocolate ones!) which they can sell….or eat.

When you have raised £15 you can donate it by clicking the link below. Don’t forget to let us know how you did it – just post it on social media using #shiviachallenge or email us at toolkits@shivia.com

  • It has been a pleasure to help shine a light on the inspirational work that Shivia does. The team’s passion and determination to make a lasting difference to families living in poverty – and doing so respectfully – is clear in every interaction. By contributing support for their marketing communications and brand identity evolution, we hope that they will be able to empower even more people in the future.

  • Shivia’s work is very impressive - how it is carried out and who the people are working in the locations.  It is a very healthy and together team which is being very effective.

  • Agri-management Services has the capacity to deliver lasting change for our farmers. I have always felt that the farmers feed our nation while they can hardly afford to feed themselves. What an irony. So if my team and I are able to help farmers earn a sustainable income through agriculture, there’s nothing better than this.

  • I have witnessed first-hand how Shivia has not just changed but transformed people's lives with its livelihood programmes.

  • Alquity supports Shivia because they transform lives by giving people the opportunity to do things themselves and they do it with dignity.
