Beautypreneur Programme
Business skills and training for aspiring new beauty entrepreneurs
About the programme
We launched this new programme in October 2020 to support women in low-income households in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Our implementation partner in India is SAATH Charitable Trust.
Our aim is to provide business skills training for women living in urban poverty so they can start their own entrepreneurial enterprise in the Beauty & Wellness sector.
Each of our beneficiaries has completed a vocational training programme in beauty techniques. This second phase of the programme covers formal training in business planning and management and takes one year to complete.
Once certified, our beneficiaries are fully equipped to manage their own beauty business and earn a sustainable income.
They are also qualified to train other women on the three month vocational training programme, adding to their income stream.
