Shivia shortlisted for 2017 Charity Times award!

We are delighted that, for the third year running, we have been shortlisted for an award by Charity Times.  We are one of just four charities nominated in the International Charity category.

The award ceremony is on 4th October and we are hoping that this year it will be third time lucky!

About the Charity Times Awards:

The Charity Times Awards continue to be the pre-eminent celebration of best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector. The awards are free to enter and open to any UK-based registered charity, or international charity with registered UK offices. Here we are at the 2015 event when we were nominated for the Charity of the Year with income under £1 million.  The winner that year was UNSEEN (http://www.unseenuk.org/)

In 2016 we were shortlisted for International Charity of the Year and the eventual winner was BRAC (http://www.brac.net/).

As the world’s largest development organisation they were deserving winners and we were honoured to be nominated in the same category as them.

  • It has been a pleasure to help shine a light on the inspirational work that Shivia does. The team’s passion and determination to make a lasting difference to families living in poverty – and doing so respectfully – is clear in every interaction. By contributing support for their marketing communications and brand identity evolution, we hope that they will be able to empower even more people in the future.

  • Agri-management Services has the capacity to deliver lasting change for our farmers. I have always felt that the farmers feed our nation while they can hardly afford to feed themselves. What an irony. So if my team and I are able to help farmers earn a sustainable income through agriculture, there’s nothing better than this.

  • I have witnessed first-hand how Shivia has not just changed but transformed people's lives with its livelihood programmes.

  • Alquity supports Shivia because they transform lives by giving people the opportunity to do things themselves and they do it with dignity.
