Chicken Run raises over £11,000!

On 14th October our team of amazing runners completed the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London.

Despite the pouring rain (one very wet day in a month of glorious autumn sunshine!), Olly, George, Robbie, Joe, Caroline, Fiona, Ignatius, Alice and Barnaby all completed the 13 miles around some of London’s best loved parks and iconic monuments and raised an incredible £11,844 for our Poultry Development Services programme in West Bengal – a very successful chicken run! We had hoped the team of 10 runners would jointly raise about £10,000 as it’s our 10th anniversary this year and that seemed like an auspicious target to aim for. Exceeding that by some considerable amount was the proverbial ‘icing on our birthday cake’! Sadly, Rob from Artemis sustained an injury during training and could not run on the day – there’s always next year though!

  • Agri-management Services has the capacity to deliver lasting change for our farmers. I have always felt that the farmers feed our nation while they can hardly afford to feed themselves. What an irony. So if my team and I are able to help farmers earn a sustainable income through agriculture, there’s nothing better than this.
