Sudeshna Mukherjee: Trustee

Appointment date: March 2019

Sudeshna, a trained development economist from SOAS, University of London, started her career as a high performing investor relations professional with a wealth of proven quantitative experience with FTSE clients. Currently, she is the owner of interior design firm, Chic Cocoon.

The one thing I have always known I’d like to do with my life at some point is to help underprivileged people. Shivia’s focussed approach to improve the livelihood of the poorest people by creating income-generating means in West Bengal was just the right platform for me to embark on this journey.

  • Farming is my only source of income... I registered with Shivia to learn how to reduce my farming expenses and produce better quality outputs. I am definitely seeing good results compared to previous years and have learned how to make bio-pesticides.
