To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we have launched a new fundraising campaign…

The 10/10 Multiplier

Based on the theme of 10, we are asking supporters to think of fun and innovative fundraising ideas to turn a small amount of money into a much larger amount – just like our women farmers do in India when they turn a £15 poultry toolkit into £45 by selling eggs. We’ve thought of a few ideas to get you thinking about how you might want to get involved…

Nightrider 2019

Join our team of 10 riders for Nightrider 2019 – a 50km/100km night-time ride around London on 8/9 June 2019. Click here for more information.

The 10/10 curry supper:

Invite 10 friends for a curry supper and ask them for a £10 donation to Shivia in exchange for your delicious food, time and effort!

Run a 10K:

Every weekend there are running events happening all over the country.  Why not challenge yourself to one? Just 10 sponsors giving you £1 per kilometre will take your total to £100 in an instant.  We realise it will take a little longer to actually run 10K though!

Go even further and run a half marathon:

Get inspired by watching our video from the 2017 Royal Parks Half Marathon:

Find 10 new Shivia friends:

We love being introduced to new supporters. If you tell 10 people in your network about Shivia our network will grow and grow…just like the chicks in one of our Poultry Toolkits.

Shop online with GoRaise or Amazon Smile:

You can support Shivia from the comfort of your own computer, phone or tablet when you shop online with GoRaise and Amazon Smile. Spend £10 or £100 – either way a % of what you spend will automatically be donated to Shivia. Click below to start shopping…

Regular monthly giving:

This is one of the most effective ways to support Shivia as regular giving helps us to plan more easily. You can do this directly with us or via your workplace giving plan. A donation of just £10 per month for one year could allow us to provide 8 families with their first Shivia Poultry Toolkit containing 10 chicks which will soon be earning them the extra money they so desperately need. And Gift Aid means your donation is worth an extra 25%. Please email for more details.

Online and text donations:

You can donate to Shivia with JustGiving, Virgin Money Giving, PayPal and Global Giving. Just head to our Ways to Give page here

  • Farming is my only source of income... I registered with Shivia to learn how to reduce my farming expenses and produce better quality outputs. I am definitely seeing good results compared to previous years and have learned how to make bio-pesticides.
