Pro-bono network
Shivia aims to keep admin costs in the UK as low as possible. We thrive off our lively pro-bono community in London and are grateful to all those advisers and supporters who have given us their time, knowledge, guidance, assets and skills:
Legal Work
Advocates for International Development (A4ID) assists Shivia in obtaining pro bono legal services. This has been hugely helpful in both setting up Shivia and in continuing support as we progress. (www.a4id.org)
Office Space
EFG private bank provides Shivia with pro bono office space in their Curzon Street office. This is invaluable for us as a base in the heart of the West End. (www.efgl.com)
Website
We are very grateful to Ian Wilson who has devoted his time to re-designing and administering our website. Ian is an IT voluntary worker, but also works full-time as an Information Management Consultant.
Events
Venquis has been instrumental in promoting the work that Shivia does in India and Nepal to their client base and plans to assist in the organisation of numerous fund raising activities.
Volunteers
We rely heavily on our volunteer base especially students from SMDI London School of Economics and MBA/Exec MBAs from the London Business School.
Since we do not have a Shivia Nepal team, we rely heavily on interns spending considerable time with our local partner, BASE
